Most skincare marketed for sensitive skin still contains synthetic fragrance, preservatives like phenoxyethanol, emulsifiers, and petroleum-derived ingredients — compounds that trigger reactions in already-reactive skin even when the formula is labeled "gentle" or "hypoallergenic." Why Grass-Fed and Finished Tallow From Suet Works for Sensitive Skin

Grass-fed and finished tallow from suet is one of the most skin-compatible moisturizing ingredients available because its lipid structure mirrors skin's own sebum. Unlike synthetic emollients that sit on the surface, tallow's fatty acid profile — palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, and conjugated linoleic acid — is recognized by skin at a biological level. Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is traditionally recognized for supporting calm, balanced-looking skin. Palmitic acid is one of skin's own natural lipids, helping maintain barrier integrity. Oleic acid carries fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, supporting the skin's natural barrier function.
